Now, can WeatherBound do it twice in a row...?

An image you wish to use/insert needs to be hosted on the net somewhere....right click, copy and paste into the forum text window....that's it...
End of quote

It doesn't get any easier...;)

I right-clicked your image...
I chose 'copy'...
I scrolled down to the 'Add a reply' window ...
I right-clicked inside...
Chose 'paste'.

That's it...;)

with the image shack thing, it always sends me to the website when I click on my images, so it isn't quite as convenient as it makes out to be. I also found out , that there is a field in the "share images" page that you have to unclick if you want the whole image to show as opposed to a thumbnail.
I finally figured out, though, that the "direct link" url is the one you have to use for it to work at WC. so long as I copy that link, and put it inbetween the [ img ][ /img ] things.. it works just fine.
thanks all!   ;)

The really proper way to posting a good image with a thumbnail is with of course html.
I usually upload to my site and then load the image in my browser and copy the link into my already setup html body. Seen here in this zipped text file...
WWW Link

Which when added to this here reply I just switch to the advanced mode and post as this here

Need the direct link to image...if it has anything "my.php" in it, it will just take to the imageshack page with all the image info, you need the one that *ONLY* displays the image all by itself. Easier way, when you're viewing the fullsize image, right click on it and select "copy image location/url" and use that.
