First off, yes, I'll stay, for a while. I've just been frustrated, my wisdom teeth are coming in, and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow to go see what he wants me to do with them. Bleh.
Second: What is with repeat posters? I mean, come on, yes, I'm currently ranked at 105 (did break 100 before), but I can remember coming here and seeing at LEAST 10 posts of the same thing, by the same person. Ok, so the body was different, but seriously... do one-line posts count THAT much? Shouldn't it also be the content that matters, and not just how many posts? I know, you can vote, but not everyone does. Bleh.
Allright, on to somewhat decent news, I think. I'm going to be making a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon, or whatever else you want the acronym to be). For those of you who don't know, a MUD is a text-based RPG played online. Imagine Everquest, or Star Wars: Galaxies, or City of Heroes, but completely text based. Frees up a LOT of space by just using text. I mean, if it takes 1 meg to do a 3d model of something (just guessing), but two lines to describe it in words, what do you think takes less hard drive space, less ram, less whatever? Heh. Ok, well, I have a basis for the MUD, kinda, but I've been trying to come up with everything, and I have like NO one on my team yet. When I get specifics, I'll post em here or somewhere else to see what people think of them. I know, I'm a nerd, but it's what I love.
Also, Baldurs Gate 2 is one of the BEST RPGs I've ever played. Yes, it's like Gauntlet, but it's still awesome. Run around, hacking, slashing, casting spells, doing crazy stuff, upgrading weapons (I have a +3 Great Ax that does Fire AND Acid damage, my friend has a +3 Staff that bleeds. Sic). It's fun once you get into it. Really.
So, anyways, whatever. I'm done with this for right now (I'll post later). Leave any comments or suggestions the usual way. Criticizm, chuck out the door. I dun need it.
