Retail version and using stardock.

This may not be obvious to other retail purchasers (it was not to me). To use stardock you need to register on the website first. I went through the registration process to create this post. I was going to ask what I needed to successfully use the stardock application since it kept coming back in failure. I now understand you need to register on the web site first. The dialogue you get in the app when you first run it seems to imply that by entering your info their you will be registering but I never got a successful registration that way.

The "confirmation" dialog should have mentioned the need to check your email and activate the account. Have to think of a way to make that more obvious perhaps.

It's not mater of being obvious. My experience was that you cannot register using the client. If you do it it comes back saying something about failing to register. I forget the exact wording. If you register to use this forum and then use that email/password etc to register with the client it lets you in.
