still waiting for serial number

Ok, so I'm impatient. I found out about this game too late to get the beta so now I am impatiently waiting to play my dream game. I entered in the credit info and asked the CD's to be shipped to me. There was a problem, so I emailed sales support like it said. But, does that mean I won't get the serial number and be able dl the game until I get this shipping issue resolved? I hope I can get the serial number soon, it says in the faq that it will be emailed. Its taking a while...
