HOW TO DOWNLOAD THEMES

Make sure you have the appropriate software installed to use the themes then just click on a skin you like and use the big red DOWNLOAD button @ top right of page. Then use whatever application you are using to install the skin.

You're probably not on the right page because there really is a download button. Over on the right hand side you will notice Gallery, click on the gallery you want. I'm assuming you will want to download a WindowBlind theme. After opening up the gallery just click on 1 of the WB themes you like and it will take you to the download page. Make sure you also download WindowBlinds (it has a 60 day trial version available for free). There's also an OS Customization Beginners section listed on the right hand side under Channels in the Forums here. I would start there.  

Umm... I'm not as new, but I'm not very familiar with the site.

I click the red button, and then it takes me to another page where it says "Click to download" and I see a little folder with the WB file name. I click that and it takes me to the screen shot, and I don't know what to do.

Yes. I have a page that has a red button that says "Download"; I click that and it takes me to another page where a little folder appears where it says "Click link to download" so I click the link. And that link takes me to the screenshot.

An example of what I'm trying to download would be this.

The reason you can't download is your not in the correct section,the section your looking at is SCREENSHOTS in other words people are uploading their desktops to show off different styles.

Use the link you provided you see where the red download button is it says "screenshots" just above it,also all theme,cursor,window blinds, sections have their name to right of the banner at top,to download themes clik on the gallery link in banner,once page has loaded look to the right, edge scroll down there should be a few icons that say cursorxp etc you can use the edit button in that column to hide or show more stuff

Is there one place to find the information needed to work and understand the personal sites ? I can figure out how most of it works, but just wonder if there is one place (I have yet to find!) where new users would be able to find all the information on :
- how to work watchlists
- upload personal pics and screenshots
- change your settings and profile
- an explanation of "hits", "referrals", and points
- full explanations of working with the forums

A tutorial in the new users forum would be the best place for this ...a sticky would be best IMHO

i also have a similar problem whereby clicking on the link to download the filename.wba does nothing and i mean nothing and i get this error code aswell
