Systray disappearing

Ok, i got a litlle problem, i downloaded Q's Counter Elements 2 (theme)
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=3605&libid=31 (link)

But the systray in the taskbar is missing, i mailed the creator of the theme, but he said it is a problem within DesktopX.

I've run across one or two where the system tray came up blank and switching to builder mode then changing the icon offset to 0 or 1 fixed it.

right click DTX systray icon > switch to buider mode

right click on the theme system tray > properties

that's as far as I can go (not at home and my short term's shot)

going through the varios property options on the systray you should find one concerning icon spacing etc - those are the ones I played with and got the tray back up.

once you get the tray going don't forget to save the theme, then switch back to the client mode.

If you only have DTX Client - builder mode is not an option.

Was this your first time using DX? (Or MCP?)  Had you rebooted?

It hooks into Windows as it starts and if you don't reboot at least once . .  it has nothing to hook into.

Glad it ended up working.

if you have installed MCP
if nothing happened copy all files in this folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\
to this one
C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX
reboot the computer
Hope that's help you
