Any help with the downloads

Right, so I've been away for a bit, and had to reinstall everything. Now nothing runs, and I have to go through 67 different register this, create that, turn around and jump through hoops, and yet, after all of that, it's saying that my copy isn't registered? Which I thought was strange since it was the registration screen giving me the error message. Really folks, do you have to make it so difficult? I've never pirated a thing in my life, but all of this hoop jumping makes it seem much more understandable. If this is the way you treat legitimate purchasers of your product, well 'nuff said.

Did you purchase the download version or the retail version initially?

If the download version, there should be nothing to do but to log into SDC with the same account as before and download.

If the retail version, and you patched the game before, then you can do the same, or install from the retail discs and use the standalone 1.4x patch.

If you have the retail version and never patched it before, then please give more detail about how you're going about it and what exact error you're receiving.
