I went to one of the parks on Long Island this AM, just to take some photos and do some bike riding. And I was disgusted by what I saw there. Trash strewn all thru the paths. well, maybe not every one, but enough to make me wonder anyone really cares about this planet. Let me ask you all a question. If you went to a beautiful, peacefull and fairly wild area, wopuld you through your empty water bottles, soda cans, food wrappers, all over the trails? Or would you wait till you got back to your car and put them in a trash receptacle. I know what I would do. We need to be extremely careful how we treat this fragile ball we live on. Or our children will be picking up the pieces long after we have left. It is my hope, that if I can reach even one person out there and change the way they look at this world, I will have done something good with my life. Peace
