According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull has begun raising $150 million to co-found a new independent publisher/developer with Internet millionaire Bert Ellis. Tull, whom is hot off the success of '300,' which he was executive producer of, and having Legendary Pictures land the rights to the World of Warcraft movie, and Ellis have named the company Brash Entertainment LLC, following Ellis' music company, Brash Music.
The company already has a reported 6 projects in the works, including an adaptation for PC gamers of the hit movie '300.' The company is to reportedly focus on games "that will be licensed with major movie, book, and music titles," featuring top-shelf tie-ins. Ellis explained that the titles will be based on "brands you'll know."
