'LEGO Batman' Coming 2008

Variety is reporting that Batman will be the next franchise to get the LEGO based video game treatment after the rampant success of the LEGO Star Wars titles. Warner Bros. has signed a deal to garner the LEGO brand and has managed to tap the development house behind the previous LEGO games, TT Games, to make LEGO Batman.

Other than the development, Warner will be doing everything in-house, including fully financing the title, publishing and distributing it in North America. Although LEGO Batman was only mentioned as a console title via the report a PC edition is likely seeing as the previous LEGO titles were released for Windows as well. LEGO Batman crime fighting will begin in 2008.

Hopefully it'll be longer than LEGO Star Wars was. I think I finished that in about 6 hours.

Yea it was one of those lazy Sunday titles you can beat in one sitting. I did that to Gears of War Co-Op, although at least GoW has some fun multiplayer and hard mode.
