Does it really take this long

For my correct serial to be accepted

Especially when I try and sign into the meta from the game.
I have had many communications with support and still no resolution. They insist that the serial on record is mine, even though when I look in registrations, under "my account" it's a completely different number ,
I guess it's difficult for the support team to access this site and allow changes.
Ive even sent screenshots , but that doesn't seem to matter.
No evidence helps, no amount of argument helps,

Please help me do something,

PS before someone bangs on about the meta not being related to serials, this ain't only the issue,
I want MY serial in registrations, not someone else's.

The serial number of your game is in your registry. If you feel comfortable going in there, click run, and type REGEDIT. It is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Stardock/ComponentManager/Drengin.net/DarkAvatar (or gc2). Don't muck about in there. You can compare the number to the one that either you or Stardock have. If nothing else, this will give you an additional source of information to work with. Good luck.

Thanks Mistralok, I am comfortable using the registry. and the number matches the one stardock sent me, just not the one held on this site
I have solved the Meta problem, It took restoring an image from before I installed Stardock Central and fully reinstalling galciv2. I don't know if they've done anything in support as I reinstalled galciv before and it didn't work.
but at least I can sign into the meta now.
So I can't say I'm too bothered with the incorrect serial held on this site.
