2k Games has announced that there will indeed be a special edition of Irrational Games' BioShock which is set for an August 21, 2007 release for Windows and Xbox360. The announcement comes after 2k Games collected 5000 signatures in just over five hours to support the release of BioShock Limited Edition for both Windows and Xbox360.
2k Games has decided that since they have already received 14,000 signatures for the Limited Edition that they might as well go all the way, allowing gamers to decide exactly what will be included. The company states that the 'winning choices' will help them decide what to include, with choices including a soundtrack, art book, Big Daddy figurine, and Making of DVD just to name a few.
