Personalized Empire Logos?

Its certainly too early to talk about this, but perhaps in future the game might allow us to add our own personalized Empire logos? And be able to select them during the starting game menu.

Being able to put yur own badges on all your ships, as in Homeworld 2 (multiplayer) would be an excellent addition.

I know thread was started some time ago, but with beta2 etc has a decision been made now?

I personally think it would be a real shame if this feature was not added!

Logos don't appear on ships now.

I expect it'll be pretty easy to mod in additional logos considering everything else you can change.

Forgive me for being stupid, but does that mean we will probably have to mod the changes ourselves? If so I'm not nthused by the idea, as everyone then has to load the same mod?

Or do you mean that it should be a relatively straightforward thing to change for the game developers?

Forgive my foolishness, I don't care if its not in beta, but pllllllllzzzzzzzzz put it in the full version

No, I mean you would need to do it yourself. Same way as in most games.

The only way to get logos imprinted on the ships would be to mod the skin files for each ship.

I believe it is possible to modify the race's icon though, that seems quite easy to do.

To bad the Dev's didn't incorporate some kind of build in "seal" system, where the race's icon would automatically get appended to each ship... in place of the way most (all?) ships have their names / numbers printed on them.

Yeah I agree, a default skin spot that pulls name/images from a file onto the skin would have been awesome!
