Can't Apply Theme

Hi my name is Tony. I know this was already commented on in another post that was titled "I can't install a them on XP" but that was on a trial of WB. Well I have the same issue as he does and when I apply my theme it changes everything to Windows Classic Style.

Here is the System Info:
My System OS: Windows XP Media Center 2005 SP2

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 92 x86))
WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.
(Default Monitor) 1 is attached to Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family
Wblind.dll 2007/02/21 15:06:20
Wbsrv.dll 2007/02/07 17:31:19
Wbconfig.exe 2007/02/21 15:06:33
Wbload.exe 2006/09/30 13:59:14
Wbhelp.dll 2004/09/18 15:37:07
Wbui.dll 2005/12/06 21:29:06
Tray.dll 2006/04/28 18:27:49

Can someone please help me with this problem. I'm using Windowsblind 5.5 Enhanced if I remember correctly. The themes applied with no problems a week ago, but then my computer crashed so I reformatted everything and now when I try to apply a theme for WB it changes to Windows Classic Style.

Well that is all I got to say.
Thanks In Advanced.

Current build is (5.5(build 94 x86))

Did you install WindowBlinds via Stardock Central?

Have you tried updating?

My WB was given to me from a friend.... so I did not install via Stardock Central. I do not think a update will do anything for me because a week ago be my formatting of the system... the skins worked.

You will be better off purchasing your own copy or WB.

Funnily enough, WindowBlinds 5.5 Enhanced is not for giving to your friends. This may be the root cause of your problem.

You can get a legitimate copy of WindowBlinds - either a trial or the full version - here.

WindowBlinds uses the Windows Classic Style to manipulate the themes it uses, there's obviously a glich that stops the process there and then. Don't know how to solve it, but it definitely uses the Classic theme. Hope it helps a bit .

glitch = mismatched files
Don't know how to solve it,

uninstall, reboot, see reply #4

hey guys thanks for the feedback. I did what you told me and now got it up and running.... my themes apply but why doesn't my icons change to the ones shown in the screenshots of those skins? I found the shellstyle thing in the WB directory.... and double clicked it. It came up on the web browser to save it, but when I try to open it, it won't open. How can I get these icons from the skin to change the ones I have?
