.Dream format not recognized anymore

Hey all,
I have been enjoying all the .dream files since the day this site launched and have built up a pretty extensive collection. I upgraded to version 1.01 today to download some of the new dreams with dynamic content.
After installing and rebooting, all my dream files act like they don't exist. They're there, but trying to open them from the desktop background setting window, or even double clicking on them does nothing. The windows vista dreamscene samples and my own videos however still work.
I looked through the forum posts and posts under the release 1.01 update, but didn't see anyone with my specific problem. I have kept my dreams under:

myname\documents\DreamScene Wallpapers (which is where they still are)

I tried moving them to:
myname\Documents\Stardock\Dreams
as well as:
C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Deskscapes

which were both discussed as fixes for various other problems with the 1.01 update, but the .dream files still refuse to do anything when you try to open them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried rebooting?

Actually I rebooted after install, and after 2 subsequent reboots, they all started working again. The only problem I am having now is what I believe some other people have posted as well, where the dynamic content dreams (like the Earth) stop showing up after some time. When I went to bed lastnight, I had the Earth dream running, but when I woke up this morning, the screen was blank and I had to re-apply the dream.
