'Heroes of Might and Magic V' Saga Coming To A Close
Stand-Alone 'Tribes of the East' To Close The Story
Ubisoft has announced what is considered as the conclusion to the Heroes of Might & Magic V story, Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East. The new title will be a stand-alone release, unlike the previous Hammers of Fate expansion pack, and is targeting a Fall release. Ubisoft has handed the franchise back to Nivel Interactive who has developed the title since Ubisoft took over the rights from The 3DO Company in 2003.
The stand-alone title will let players take the reigns of the Orc tribe, which were introduced as part of the Dark Messiah of Might & Magic universe, allowing them the same ability to recruit heroes, build armies and manage cities as you conquer lands near and far. Tribes of the East will include 10 multiplayer and 5 single player maps as well as numerous other characters from the Dark Messiah of Might & Magic universe. Ubisoft confirms that this is indeed the conclusion to the Heroes V saga stating:
Heroes of Might & Magic® V: Tribes of the East chronicles the final chapter in the epic struggle that began with the interrupted wedding of Queen Isabel. Players will follow the steps of the Necrolord Arantir as he uncovers the prophecy of the Dark Messiah of Might and Magic(TM) and exposes the Demon Sovereign's conspiracy.
Following this brilliant conclusion to the Heroes of Might & Magic® V story, the world of Ashan will never be the same again…
