Standalone Installer

So I've noticed that the latest standalone installer is still the one for version v1.40X. Will there be a standalone installer for any DA versions in the future? If so any idea when or for what rev?

The reason I ask is because I would prefer not to install SDC for quasi-religious/OCD reasons. In the case of Extreme Unction I can probably bring myself to overcome these issues however I really would prefer it if I didn't have to resort to SDC to install/update DA.

As noted by Frogboy when the first DA patch was posted, there aren't any plans to put out standalone patches as long as DA is being actively updated. So (assumably) until DA's EoL, the patches will only be on SDC.

I would hope to think that there might come a time of relative stability where DA wasn't actively being updated but that such a time would not necessarily mean the End of Life for DA. Or does it?
