widgets load but do not funtion

Up until recently, DestopX worked with no problem. However, here of late the widgets load, but do not function, regardless of which widget is loaded. On occasion, the program closes and an error message appears requesting that the program be "debugged". I've uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the suggestion Bichur, but no go. I will try the other suggestion and see if that has any effect.
