BlizzCon Dated, Head-to-Head With QuakeCon

Blizzard has announced that their second annual BlizzCon event will go head to head versus the other big PC-centric convention, QuakeCon. QuakeCon was announced to be held August 2-5 in Dallas, Texas late last year and yesterday Blizzard announced their convention celebrating everything Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft will go off between August 3-4 in Anaheim, California.
BlizzCon will be open for gamers over the age of 4 and feature panel discussions and autograph sessions with the developers, tournaments, contests, and a silent auction. Blizzard has also said there will be orchestra performances and other unannounced activities, all for the not-so-low price of $100.
Here's to hoping that the Starcraft 2 rumors will be addressed.
