Dr. Phil Blames Society & Entertainment For Virgina Tech Shootings
Likens Video Games In General As Training Machines

Following the horrific shootings at Virgina Tech has come the expected place of blame. The more credible than Jack Thompson TV personality of Dr. Phil McGraw went on Larry King Live last night to blame society and entertainment in general for the killings.
McGraw via Larry King Live stated "the problem is we are programming these people as a society. You cannot tell me - common sense tells you that if these kids are playing video games, where they’re on a mass killing spree in a video game, it’s glamorized on the big screen, it’s become part of the fiber of our society."
Although Dr. Phil is being more level headed about placing blame, he is also being a bit hypocritical. Some may remember that he was in a not so PG rated scene of the horror spoof 'Scary Movie 4' were he cut his own foot off to try and save his life. At any rate, he seemed to miss the big point, let's try to treat the 'psychopath' before this can happen and not let them get their hands on two hand guns.
