Metaverse Uploading Question

Quick question. If you finish a game offline, will you later be able to upload your score to the Metaverse when you are later online, or do you have to be online when you finish the game and it gives you that option?

you can save your game and re-submit it later, but if it's a cultural victory you may have to play some more to get to the winning point agian.
