SEGA Grabs More Marvel Movie Licenses
Hulk, Captain America & Thor Lined Up For Game Tie-ins

SEGA has beefed up its Marvel licensing deals, adding The Incredible Hulk, Thor and the recently deceased Captain America to their the Iron Man rights which they acquired from Activision almost a year ago.
The new deal will see SEGA developing titles for each character, all to be launched in conjunction with their planned movies. The Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton should be the first property to see a title from SEGA's new deal coming sometime in June 2008. Next up will be the film based on the Captain America movie which still remains in development. This will be the first title that focuses on Captain America alone since the 1994 Game Boy title Captain America and the Avengers although he is a playable character and one of the leaders in the story of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Lastly will come a title based on the planned movie of 'The Mighty Thor' which is currently scheduled for release sometime after 2008. Unlike many other super heroes, Thor has never had a release to call his own, although he also appears in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance with part of the story revolving around his Norse roots.
SEGA's deal gives them exclusive rights to make titles for the three characters for consoles, handhelds and PCs and is a "multi-year global licensing agreement."
