Soren Johnson Joins Will Wright On 'Spore'

According to the Civilization fansite Apolyton.net Soren Johnson, the Co-Lead Designer for Civilization III and Lead Designer on Civilization IV, has left Firaxis Games to re-join Electronic Arts. Johnson interned at the video game powerhouse as part of a programming team on the Knockout Kings franchise while at Stanford University. He will now work on the multi-platform Spore title with Maxis head Will Wright. Spore is scheduled to be released later this year.
