Random startup settings available?

I am now reading the manual as I download the game (i.e. I haven't played it yet). I noticed that you can set the other races' morality, intelligence, etc. but didn't see anything about a random setting for them. Can that be done? It would be really nice to discover whether a race is evil or good, smart or dumb, during the game. It would add an element of surprise. HeckAit would be fun just to choose the galaxy size and have the rest random. That way, you would have to play with the cards you're dealt, so to speak...

Anybody else agree?

Yes, you can set both computer intelligence AND personality at random!

Along those lines, how do I remove a specific race from the game setup? I noticed that if I click the figure a few times, it changes to a silhouette. Does that outline then mean that this particular race will not be present in the game?

Can you also set a random number of alien races? It would also be fun to not know (at the beginning) how many other races share the galaxy with you.
