Humbling Moment of the Week...Hopefully

Today was a non-school day at work so we took a little field trip with the kids to a large park about 20 minutes away. We needed to kill a lot of time there so naturally the kids grew a bit bored of the playground, and I got tired of pulling kites out of trees that had difficulty supporting my weight. So both myself and a number of the kids were bored.....solution?
Well naturally, it was the perfect time for two four year olds to try to teach me to do cartwheels and handstands. Yeah, these girls didn't know what they got themselves into.
I'm not the most graceful out there, and though I may be somewhat athletic, my tumbling skills are not my strong suit. My body still aches from many repeated failed attempts, which, I will add, cured the boredom of many of my fellow staff members who were observing these lessons.
Though, I should give myself some credit. I don't think I've ever tried to do a cartwheel before, let alone a handstand. I think with a little practice I should be able to put them on the same list of my other useless abilities.
Cheers to Monday,
