Autopilot and resolution recongfiguration questions.

Is there any way to set units to autoexplore without needing to clikc on them every turn?

Second, how does the resolution get changed, if it can?

No you'll have to explore manually. You can set a surveyship to explore ohne sector, but it isnt that efficient.

The res is fixed at 1024*768, and cant be changed.

Doc,
don't click on the scout every turn, just send it to some far off sector. When it reaches it, send it to another far off sector and repeat. Will eventually reveal everything. Best to use a couple of scouts.

My stragegy is similar.

I "autpilot" (left click) my scouts to each of the nearby stars, but then concentrate on survey ships. Two or three scouts with several survey ships (on auto survey) means almost no management, and almost no blind spots. Scouts on have to be "attended to" when they reach a new star, which allows me to investigate the star myself.

It's a high return for a low time and attention investment. Hope this helps.
