How to make dynamic content

I just downloaded dreamMaker, but I fail to see any help files so I can learn how to make dynamic content. Is there a site describing what filetypes are supported by dreamMaker in order to make dynamic content.

I would also appreciate any info on how to make a dll file to create dynamic content.

As far as I know the dream maker does not include the ability to make dynamic content yet. Stardock is currently working on an API to correct that.

And incase you're wondering (as many of us have at one point or another) Niel Banfield is an artist working for Stardock, meaning he has free access to any currently unreleased software and thus we see a lot of dynamic content from him.

All there is to do now is wait. Soon all the wonderful artists here will go on a wild rampage and we will see the most creative, wonderful pieces of dynamic content yet. I, personally, cannot wait.

Then what's up with the radio button called "Dynamic Content"? When you select that radio button in DreamMaker, it asks you to upload a "Dynamic Content dll" and "Additional (video) files to include". What's that all about if DreamMaker does not include the ability to make dynamic content yet?

An SDK is in the works, and when it's released we will be sure to let everyone know.

I was wondering why there were very few available dynamic dreams.I think we all look forward to seeing the SDK so developers can start creating and adding more dynamic dreams. Thanks for the head's up, Island Dog.

This doesn't pertain to the above requests. I went through Island dog's Dream Maker tutorial step by step and every time I do it I get the same error message.


Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B).


Where do I go from here ? Can anyone help me?
