'Hellgate: London' Information Revealed

Games For Windows magazine has dropped the latest information on one of the anticipated titles from Flagship Studios, Hellgate: London. The studio formed by numerous ex-Blizzard employees including Bill Roper will now be releasing two online-based games that are free to play, although unlike Mythos, Hellgate: London will have a pay-to-play structure as well.

Players who choose to pay the $9.95 a month will get many perks including the ability to wield the title's most powerful weapons and access to shuttles that will transport them across hard to reach areas of London. 'Elite' players as they are called will also avoid server queues, get 12 character slots instead of three, double the item storage, and additional game modes. Hellgate: London is still set for a Summer 2007 release.

The list continues but basically if you want to play the game seriously, you are going to have to cough up the cash to be competitive in any way.
