Gamestop has pushed back the release date of the next installment to the Quake franchise from id Software and Splash Damage nearly a month. According to the retailer Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be ready on July 2, 2007 instead of the previously marked date of June 5, 2007. Of note is the fact that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Collector's Edition has been moved back to July 10, 2007, a full 8 days after the standard version is released.
What kind of collector wants to get the game later than everyone else? Well, at least we will all have something to do come Fourth of July!
