'Extinct Animals' Expansion Announced For Fall 2007 Release

Microsoft has announced plans for an expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon 2 entitled Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals. The new expansion from series creator Blue Fang Games will be the fourth full-expansion for the title, which does not include the "Premium Download" pack. Extinct Animals is promised to be the series largest expansion pack when it arrives on PCs this fall.
Blue Fang has packed the newest expansion with 30 new animals included over a dozen dinosaurs, such as the not-so-ancient Dodo Bird to the massive American Mastodon and T. Rex. Using the Extinct Research Lab players will be able to bring their fossil to life and later display their finds in the zoo.
