Avi to wmv

Hi,

I created some "dreams" but they have the .avi format. This is not supported by deskcapes.
Is that future comming or do i have to convert to wmv.

In that case. has somebody a good convertor. Free, no ads, no quality loose, etc

With moviemaker I had problems for widescreen.

But that wmv encoder works perfect. thx man.

I would recommend converting them into .mpg's.

Do you know any good (preferably free) converter o convert avi's to mpg's? Was trying to make a dream aswell but it wouldn't load (I think because it was a avi like stephenvw said?)

What did you originally create them in? Does it have the option to export to an Dream compatible format?
I'd think that exporting it from the original source would produce a better result than converting the first output.

I use for it VidLogo.It can easy convert avi or mov to mmv no quality looses. There is a free trial version without time limit.

I recommend .mpg format over .wmp I find compression, clarity, everything seems to work better for looping dreams.
