MP3 Player: Where is it??

All right, I'm sure I'm just overlooking it somewhere, but where is the MP3 player controls?? I installed the bonus pack through SDC, and the DL bonus pack file as a backup when I couldn't find it. SDC reads everything up to date, yet no MP3 player. It's supposed to be on the "menu" screen, right?? Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't used it but once the game has started hit esc. You get a save and status menu. On that meneu is a reference to the mp3 player.

On the options menu there's an option User Defined Playlist. Enable that.

Now a Load Playlist button will appear. When you click on that, a dialog will come up. The entry field at the top has the default playlist directory, but you can type another directory in there, making sure to include the full path if it's not a subdirectory of Gal Civ.

You can either save m3u files from a mp3 player into the playlist directory (but it needs to have the full path information for each track listed in the file; saving directly from the mp3 player to the directory seems to work best) or you can set the directory to a folder with your mp3s in it and Gal Civ will generate a Default.m3u for you.

I just fixed mine by registering with Stardock and downloading the patch, and the play list option showed up in the options menu. I was getting a login failed when I got on Stardock, even though it would let me download the game and bonus pack. It didn't show any updates for the game however until I registered and was logged in.
