Lighthouse Interactive has announced a new H.P. Lovecraft inspired horror title with Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder. Developed by Zoetrope Interactive, the game will see players diving into the human psyche as they explore nightmares, the occult and the rest of the psychological world as detective Howard Loreid. Loreid has been tasked with solving the murder of the wealthy Clark Field and the prime suspect is a private investigator by the name of Loath Nolder. As players get closer to finding the truth they will begin to experience an assault on their psyche, causing them to "experience lucid horrifying dreams and.. tormented by paranormal happenings."
Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder is scheduled for release Fall 2007 and was previously called Loath Nolder: Labores Solis.
