Renaming Individual Planets

How do you do this? I remember Frogboy saying it would be included in the Bonus pack.

In the beta, renaming a planet could only be done at the time of colonization (cursor into the pop-up of the planet name screen). I'm not sure if there's a way to do it after colonization.

Let's clarify: are we talking about renaming star systems, or renaming individual planets within the star systems? My own practice has always been to rename each star system according to various schemes (I have several, depending on what I feel like using at the time, and which I may discuss in another thread); I think that you can only rename a star at the time you colonize it when the popup appears saying you've discovered a new solar system.

As to individual planets, I remember that this could be done in the OS/2 version. It's been several years since I've played that version, so I don't remember exactly how it was done, and I haven't tried my first game of version 1.01 with Bonus Pack added yet (Real Life calls, don't y'know) but will do so this weekend.

Colonized stars can be renamed easily. Click on a star and in the upper part of the star's planet list is a rename button. However, I see no way to rename individual planets, nor did I see any way to rename a planet during any part of the alpha, beta, or gamma test cycles.

Like the title of this topic says 'renaming individual planets'. Frogboy said it`d be in the bonus pack. Where is it? :notsure:

Don't think it made this bonus pack. Possibly expect it in the next big update.
