Automation suggestions for 1.x

A few suggestions to reduce some of the micromanagement in the game.

1) Have an auto-launch option that autolaunches every ship when it is built. Exceptions obviously for colony ships and transports.

2) Coupled with #1, an option to bypass reports for colonies that have finished building something and started on the next item in the build queue.

Combining 1 and 2 will hopefully result in only having to look at colonies without build queues and colonies that have finished the build queue.

3) Having different economic sliders for each governor. By default they track the empire level unless specified otherwise (maybe a checkbox to turn on, disabled by default).

4) I'd like to be able to have a better way to build starbases after a certain point in the game. Micromanagement isn't too bad until 10-20 constructors are being built per turn and need locations to build/upgrade.

Someone (sorry I can't remember) had suggested a super-constructor that built 10 modules at once while costing 20 times as much. Possibly setting a target and requesting X constructors to set that point as an autopilot destination.

Here's an idea, building off what mindlar said:

After a starbase is already built, allow a player to double click on the starbase and set a number of constructors you want sent to it. When a constructor is built, have it automatically move towards the closest starbase requesting constructors, checking to make sure the max. number aren't already heading there. If there aren't any of such starbases, have it act normally. This would take a lot of tedium out of ordering around constructors later in the game.

Machina, great idea for 1.x. So, after a starbase is built, I can assign a base captain to build upgrades like a governor builds social projects. The captain would contact the nearest free constructor assigned to auto-build and no more micro-management! :)

Auto-starbase completion would be a truly great thing. As far as I can think that is the only (!) tedious micromanagement in the whole game now :)

Excellent suggestions Mindlar, I support them all

In addition, I would suggest that a morale indicator be placed next to the treasury
amount on the main screen.
:)
