Atari Dates 'NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer' & 'The Witcher'
Expansion To 'Neverwinter Nights 2' Coming In October

Atari has updated its release schedule for the year with the first new PC game hitting shelves somewhere in the world on September 14th. The Witcher will be the first release from the former Infogrames and is based on the popular Polish novels that follow Geralt, a mutant hunter. The title is a mature adventure game and was developed using a modified BioWare Aurora engine.
The next PC game will actually be the already-announced expansion to the well received Neverwinter Nights 2. Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer will drop just shy of a month after The Witcher on October 12th with the biggest addition being the change in level cap. Due to the new addition of epic levels, players will now be able to go above and beyond the previous limit of level 20, enabling them to wield new spells and achieve new feats. The expansion will also come with a ton of new content in the form of monsters, weapons, armor, modding tools and even new races.
