morale and political parties

I have started playing as the war party does the morale of the people reflect inpart the actions of the elected party and if not i think it should. In other words if i am not warlike as the war party this should effect my ability to get voted back in and not just whether taxes are kept low etc.

As the war party i think that it should not be just enough to keep taxes down and purchase morale boosting items on my planets it should also be a requirement to be war like etc to continue as the leading party in the government and receive the bonuses.Similarly if i were a pacifist party and we were in a war i would suffer in the voting,likewise if i was behind technologically ,economically or in trade i would also suffer as the appropriate party.

This way the party you choose would have even more bearing on the way you play in that to keep the bonuses and the lead party you would need to play as the party demands and if you were the lead party as the public therefore demands.

Otherwise in my current game i could still keep getting elected and receiving my bonuses even if i carried on playing as a pacifist so long as the morale was kept up with low taxes and improvements.
