The network with the fewest dropped calls my rear-end!

In case you can't figure it out from my subject line and the twist on the advertising slogan employed by the former Cingular, now AT&T cellular, their slogan and claim of being the network with the fewest dropped calls is about as bogus as it can be.

Don't get me wrong, I've had Sprint in the distant past, and they weren't much, if any better.

I've not tried T-mobile, or Verizon for that matter (though my parents have Verizon and seem to have no complaints for their usage pattern), but I expect both of those networks have issues too, but...

... it's complete and utter crap for AT&T (formerly Cingular) to call themselves the network with the fewest dropped calls given the performance I've gotten out of them on my cell phone lately.

First, there are several areas at my work where my phone loses signal completely, and when it does, my phone starts draining it's battery at a rate that even a super-sized Energizer bunny couldn't keep up with.  Sadly, once the phone does lose the signal, I pretty much have to turn the darned thing off and then back on to get the signal back as the phone never seems to detect the return of the signal.  Fat lot of good that does me as I may as well just turn the phone off and ignore it until I go home, assuming I can remember to turn the darned thing back on.

Some of the issues could be my phone, but seriously doubt that is the case since I've had these problems with Cingular (AT&T) and multiple phones on their network (formerly a Nokia 6820, currently an LG CU-500).

These jokers should be darned glad I'm not an Administrative Law Judge (nor a friend of same) in the District of Columbia, otherwise I'd probably be able to sue them for beeeeellie-ons.
