Dynamic dreamscapes problem

I have been running deskscapes on my vista ultimate system for awhile now without any problems. However, yesterday all of my dynamic deskscape dreams have refused to run at all. All of my other dreams (i.e. ones that are not dynamic)are working fine including the regular windows dreams. I am using a geforce 8800 GTS graphics adapter if that is relevant. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling deskscapes. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Things rarely break for no reason.  Had you installed or uninstalled anything before it stopped working?  New hardware?  MS update?  Something like that?

I'm sure there's a reason but it doesn't appear to be due to installing anything obvious. I haven't installed anything and the last windows update was done on 7-1-2007. Virus scans all turn up clean and there are no other apparent problems. I'll keep digging around though.....

Also, i noticed that when i click on the Dynamic Wallpaper Settings link, nothing happens. If i click on the Performance link, i do get the Performance options dialog.

I got this working. I never figured out why it quit but, i wound up moving all of my downloaded dreams into the default deskscapes dream directory. I still didn't have any dynamic dreams working but the Dynamic Wallpaper Settings link did work and once i tried changing the background picture for the liquid dream it started working again. Figured that i would post what worked for me in case someone else has this issue. I am running an Nvidia 8800 GTS with forceware 158.24 if that helps.
