Dunov Glitch

The Dunov capital ships appear to have issues with auto attacking. It seems like they interrupt their auto attack when they use their abilities. But, it might be that they just have a bug in their auto attack. When I park a Dunov next to a structure and leave it to auto attack, there are very long gaps between volleys. If I keep right clicking on the structure to make the ship attack, the structure dies about two-three times as quickly (the Dunov attacks two-three times more often). I didn't explicitly test other capital ships, but it seemed like it might be occurring on the Kols, as well.

There was a bug that sounds pretty close to this that was fixed in the July 12th patch. Are you up to date?  If so, which abilities are being used that are interrupting the autoattack?

I am using 0.76[b].018 updated 7/12/2007. I had all abilities turned to auto, but I wasn't paying attention to if they were casting. I thought it might be the interruption that was discussed in the other bug report you mentioned. You can test this by loading up one of your games and going to an enemy system. Clear out anything that fires at you and then park all your other ships on the other side of the system with auto attack to weapons range. Then, take one Dunov and move up to a research station or other structure where there is at least two of those in the system. Time how long it takes for auto attack to kill it. Then, move to another one and keep right-clicking the target until it is dead. Again, time it.

Sounds good, we'll give it a shot and let you know what we come up with!
