New 'Splinter Cell' Delayed Till Early 2008

Ubisoft has announced that the latest entry into Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series has been delayed. Splinter Cell: Conviction has been moved back to early 2008 to allow the superspy some recuperation time. The title was originally scheduled for release between October and November 2007 but was delayed on the PC and Xbox360 as part of Ubisoft's first quarter fiscal results. Conviction is now in the same release window as another Tom Clancy property, the new End War which is set to debut in Spring 2008.
