Yes, I'm a veteran.

Yet I'm just a bit younger (got out at E-4) and the probability that I could be called up at any time is slightly more conceivable then you having to receive the call (not that they need many circuit board troubleshooters in Iraq, but with the new permanent bases being installed...) so you can understand my concern. I'm talking about enlisting NOW. Back to the front - NOW. To defend our 'freedoms'? Don't make me laugh. The Fed attacked our freedoms - not the 'terrorists'.

But back to the main point, MasonM, if you kill someone in a wartime environment, are you automatically given a free pass from God for violating a commandment, will even the UCMJ overlook your deed?

Maybe, I would think.

I don't believe, however, that is very probable in the present case with the faux 'war on terror' and conflict in the middle east. I gave up being a mercenary tool a while back.
