Drengin.net Subscription versus GalCiv Registration

OK dumb question. I want to buy GalCiv but does that mean I also need to buy a Drengin.net subscription just to see the game and register it? What does the Drengin.net subscription give you? Thanks for the help.

Also, when I get GalCiv... does that give me unlimited downloads and updates for the future for just that game? Thanks!

#1 No, you can buy GalCiv separate from a Drengin.net subscription. A Drengin.net subscription just includes GalCiv. Goto Drengin.net to see what you get with that subscription.

#2 Either way you go (Drengin.net or just GalCiv) you get free updates for one year according to stardock.
