EA Announces End Of Life Support For Numerous 2006 Releases

Electronic Arts has joined Sierra Entertainment in axing support for older online titles. EA will be closing down a handful of titles across multiple platforms in two sets. The first closing will come on September 1 (with the 2008 sports line coming shortly after) followed by another batch on November 1. Most of the titles are from their 2006 sports line-up and/or the defunct Xbox and aging PS2.
