Dreamscene and Dreamscape help

When i try and Dreamscene or Dreamscape background it doesnt play its just a black background. If i right click the desktop it shows that its playing. if i choose a video under video background it works. does anybody know how to fix this. i have a diamond radeon x1050 running at 1280x1024. 1gb of ram, pentium 4 2.0ghz processor, vista ultimate.

well, I can't say for certain, but I bet a codec pack would fix it:

I am currently having the same problem when I try to encode mpeg2 .dream files

except in my case, I usually get an error ~dream scene has encountered an error and must close~ or something like that

I really hope the final version ~if one ever surfaces~ has more format support
