is there any way of getting the dread lords campaign on Dark avatar?

Should've been easy enough to check:

After choosing 'campaign' in the main menu, you get a screen where you can select either the Dread Lords or the Dark Avatar campaign.

If you do a clean install of the Gold Edition, with all latest patches, the DL campaign shows up in the Campaign menu of the DA interface. Without changing 'Chapters' in the launcher.

Unfortunately, I do not know whether this change was occasioned by Gold Edition, or by the latest patches, as I had done both before I noticed the entry.

I DO know that is you just install DA as an expansion disk, there is no way to play the original campaign from the DA engine. I tried for a long time, with several different install / reinstall patterns. In fact, that is WHY I also bought Gold edition, hoping for an integration.

The option to play the DL campaign in DA was added in the 1.5x patch series. So you won't have it unless you update the game (current is 1.6).
