Does any body know anything about the screwed up ship models that come with dark avatar?

i got the gold edition and i thought that it would work nicely. i start up DA and i find that some of the models dont work. So i downloaded all the patches and i tried again. same thing these same ship styles still dont work. does anybody know what up with that??
