Please help with newby question!

Ok, so I picked a custom race, picked the Super Annihilator ability, but now I can't figure out how to make a spore ship. There doesn't appear to be any germ warfare, or spore techs that I can research, and there are no Spore Ship options when I go to construct something. I just don't see how I get the technology! Is it hidden somewhere? Or is there a prerequisite I have to research before it shows up?
Any help here, please?

Shoot, I play super annihilator all the time and just don't believe there is a prerequisite research....its in the green category along with terraforming and farming.....usually a higher tech ability, right about the same requirements as invasion tactics. Once you research the tech, you obviously have to build the spore ship....my recommendation is to not use the standard ship, but upgrade it with some speed....faster spore is better spore. And don't bother with anything else....it is destroyed on use so guns and defense are a waste as is any kind of transport.

You should already start with Germ warfare, the prerequisite tech for Spore Weapons. It's at the very bootom of the tech tree. If you don't see it, you probably did something wrong when picking your super ability.
