Several Beta 3 questions

Are we ever going to get single player cheats just to help find bugs (so we could find problems with BIG fleets)?

Are we going to get some kind of Text document on how to create multiplayer games? Can we have bots in multiplayer games? Just how do we save/ load games in multiplayer (this could be in the Text document)? How do we chat? Can we use microphones? Can we have more of an advanced diplomacy system for multiplayer (like I could offer some resources for an alliance and he couldn't reject it for atleast 20 minutes or so so he woulnd't just get free resources or SOMETHING more advanced!!!) Does TAB show everyone's name and ping? How do we create an online account for SoaSE? Are we gonna get the Novalith cannon (or other super weapons)?

WHEN IS BETA 3?

Those are some of the questions. Its late. Sorry.

Off topic question: does anyone have a screen of the pirate base? or do they just have a homeworld?

Of course not, they want all such testing to be done in house

Can we use microphones?

There are no plans to include in game voice communications.

How do we chat?

Hit the enter key, type in a message. SOP for most games (Its what the AI does now... more or less)

like I could offer some resources for an alliance and he couldn't reject it for atleast 20 minutes or so so he woulnd't just get free resources or SOMETHING more advanced!!!

Um, what?

WHEN IS BETA 3?

Second week of September is the last given ETA.

I don't have a screenie, but I found a dead asteroid that was more like 5 asteroids cobbled together with construction to be one huge base. And I killed the pirates and colonized it myself

What I'd really like to see is having the pirate base always be off the sun (like mine was, it had a connection to the sun and nowhere else) and then when you destroy the base, the planet itself goes "boom"... and the grav well collapses, vanishing permanently, as soon as all ships have left the well. (And there is no warping in, only out to the sun, and thats enforced maybe?)

I think they are because there is a pirate owned world (not neutral with pirates) connect to my sun and there are no other planets connected to it (I've never been there but my ally prolly has).

K, I'd go to the diplomacy menu and offer him/her 3000 credits, 400 metal, and 300 crystal for a cease fire accord for a minimum of 20 minutes. Lets say he/she agrees. He/she gets the resources I offered and is now in alliance with me AND she can't reject it for at least 20 minutes so she doesn't get free resources and cancels the alliance right away. Say he/she likes the way things are going after 20 minutes and he/she doesn't cancel the treaty!

Thx for the answers Ron and thx for the pic Multi.

Oh, thats what you said. Here's a hint: punctuation and the use of multiple sentences are your friends! It sounded like you said that you could offer him a deal that he couldn't reject (and, by extension, accept) that deal for a while.
