Pixel Mine has announced Fireteam Reloaded, a multiplayer team-based action game which is being "designed as a high-octane combat sports game, featuring large-scale persistent player stat tracking" and an emphasis on "team tactics and communication," including full in-game voice support. The title is set for free release this fall and will be using a micro-payment structure to garner revenue by selling skins, maps and gameplay modes. Beta testing is to begin shortly.
"Players will have to rely on their team mates to succeed. The best players will use teamwork and coordinated tactics to advance up the rankings", says Bill Money, Chief Creative Officer for Pixel Mine. He adds "we designed Fireteam Reloaded to be very accessible; the learning curve is short and the game sessions are fast and exciting."
